Holiday Highlights.

Today marks 14 days till I officially become a Uni student. Times flies so fast.. I can't even remember what I did at home for the last 5 months after I 'graduated' from UiTM Dengkil. JK. This post here is about me recapping what I did right after I came back home from Dengkil. Disclaimer: I’m only highlighting a few big moments throughout these 5 months.

APRIL My semester 2 finals ended in mid April, which was a perfect time for me to join a cupsleeve event for Sehun as a crew! It was basically my first time ever attending AND partially managing an event like it so I was beyond excited to meet my Internet friends a.k.a my twitter mutuals! The event was held at Library Coffee Cafe @ NU Sentral. My parents picked me up from Dengkil a day before the event day and stayed in a hotel near the venue. As I expected, there were so many fans queued up for the event and I met a lot of lovely people! We took a lot of photos together, also with Sehun's standee 😁

The event went pretty well too, except for the part the security guard asked fans to make multiple lines on the bridge in front of the cafe. A few fandoms claimed that the bridge was shaking.. but alhamdulillah nothing happened! Truthfully at first, I thought cupsleeve events were sooo useless. ICYDK, a cupsleeve event is like a 'party' celebrating K-idols birthdays (mostly) or for fun! Like, why on earth would you hold a party when the birthday person isn't there right??? But then I decided to join this one as a crew member for decorations. Here is what we did!

It was really fun being together with people with common interests, working together to make things happen. I also got to meet my mutuals irl ok the event creates friendships!!! Some gave out freebies, sold things, sponsored food - ugh lovely souls. So no more bad thoughts on cupsleeve events yay!

MAY

May didn't any big events cause it was Ramadhan. My close friends gang did an iftar together at my crib. It's literally like our friendship tradition since 2015! If it's not for iftar, then it should be for Eid. Back in the years, we usually watch a movie after we break our fast. But this year was different, we wanted to have more talks and laughters (we grew up so fast sobs almost everyone drove their own car to my place!). We kinda tried playing a game from Running Man but.. It didn't work out. Shoutout to these awesome people right hereee. Missing some too cause not everyone was free at the same time.

Then, I got an interview offer to study pharmacy in Universiti Malaya (but I didn't pass it huhu). So my family, leaving Rania at home, went to KL with me. My interview was on May 28th in the afternoon and the hotel that we stayed was super close to Velvet Vanity's (my fav local cosmetics brand) showroom in Ampang so I kinda begged my parents to drop me at their showroom before my interview starts. It was smol but it was cute I really love their concept!! #canigetsponsoredtoo? 👉👈

JUNE

Ahh the raya month. Fam-bam and I went to Perth for a vacay on the first day of Eid. Yes, we did beraya in the early morning at my dad's friend's house and went back to the hotel to change clothes and off to the airport! And no, I didn't have the chance to collect a lot of duit raya this year. But anyways our flight was around dawn so we arrived at Perth airport around 2a.m. I made a thread on Twitter about our Perth trip. The trip was a guided one and we're sooo not the bag-packer type. Here's the link if you want to read it: https://twitter.com/asdfghananjkl/status/1136849122814652416?s=21

On June 14th, I had another interview in Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (AND I GOT IN YIPEE!). The IV process was pretty fun. It had stations and each station had its own task. i felt more at ease for this interview than the first one. Too intense sis cannot. HMU on Twitter or Instagram if you want to know more on the interview process, I'd be glad to share it with you!

JULY

MY MONTHHHH. It was also an EXO month. Why is that you ask? Their fifth tour dates were released and of course, they would start with Seoul. SM isn't the type to release all dates at once so I'm literally waiting for Malaysia's stop *prayer circle everyone*. Long story short - D.O enlisted, Chen was featured in Ailee's latest album, Baekhyun debuted solo and Chanhun debuted as duo!

Earlier in the month, me, Amrina and Erin went to KL together by flight to have a mini sleepover at Alya's. Farisha and Iman couldn't join us because they still had classes - but the plan must go on! We're big girls now so Alya drove us everywhere we planned to go. On the second day we accidentally spent too much time at KLCC, that we had to go through KL's (probably) worst traffic jam in Jalan Tun Razak. But it turned out quite fine and we managed to come back home by 7pm! Two nights were definitely not enough, but I was really happy to reunite with them *sends virtual hugs*.

Ok this one I almost forgot omg - MY BIRTHDAY!!! My loved ones actually made a birthday surprise for me and it was my mum's idea (I love you Umi please read this). I was supposed to go on a date with Fayd at Noha Cakes but it was actually a bait. Man I was gullible. But we WERE supposed to go on a date that night but they wanted to selit the surprise too so oklah acceptable. I never thought they would pull a party for me, but they did! I almost teared up that night but sis kental I was rather speechless!

Fam and I went back to KL again at the end of July. In case you're wondering why we always go there back and forth, my mum is actually from Gombak so going back to KL is basically a holiday routine for us. This time's trip was longer than usual. I decided to visit Marvel Exhibition (paid entry) at Pavilion and Balai Seni Negara (free entry) in Titiwangsa. And of course, pictures are a must! I made highlights for both occasions on my IG so check them out!  AUGUST Here we are in August. I started to binge-watch iCarly from the first season idk why. I posted my cincai room tour on youtube - it was highly requested! On August 9th, my high school besties and I went to Swiss Garden Residence for a mini sleepover. It was an 8/8. Everyone was there. I was so happy that we finally got together completely after two years. We gossiped and spilled some tea. Good times, man. Gonna miss these girlies a lot when degree starts. EVERYONE GREW UP SO FASTTT CAN WE STOP TIME FOR AWHILEEE.

Now it's 12:35am and I'm finally sleepy after writing this whole post just right after I came back from KL (yes, again). If you're reading this then it's probably published in the morning. Scheduling it beforehand because I'd probably forget that I wrote this one haha.

Good night!
