This should have been posted and completed during my midsem break but Hanan being forgetful Hanan! I really forgot to finish this blogspot and now that it's already in week 10, here's some life update. Oh, and meet my batchmates!

So in the first few weeks, we were introduced to some of the faculty's organisations namely the PMFFar ( pharmacy students' organisation), Green Lung, JATI and Pharmaline (magazine team for Pharmacy) and PharmNight which is a dinner night for all students and staffs for Pharmacy. Basically we had to try and join the selections to get into these orgs. I managed to get myself into Green Lung as AJK Multimedia, PharmNight as AJK programme, Pharmaline as AJK Photography (was really happy when I got this one!) and JATI as a normal member. My year screams BUSY. Things haven't started much, most of the programmes will be starting in semester 2 so pray for this girlie to survive then!
I'm just gonna highlight on some moderate-big events that happened throughout these weeks.
11th September: We had this college event called Malam Ramah Mesra - sounds like a happy interactive event but it was literally like a confession night for students but with complaints lol. They gave us more exposure on the college itself like future events they're going to hold and merit marks we need to collect to continue staying there for few more years. The other part of the night was for Q&A session which was where some of the seniors brought up college problems (but let that be confidential!).
19th September: Another night event in college - Malam Pengenalan Kelab where we had to register ourselves into our desired club(s). There were TONS ok they're like our school Co-curricular clubs but better???? Cause we didn't really have to choose the unit-beruniform kinda clubs. Freedom was ours! I managed to register myself in Sanggar Seni club. It's something like a performing arts club that I've been wanting to join ever since I was in Dengkil, but I got into Lifehack club instead. I'm in the Modern Dance team and we already had our first meeting/dance class! It was really fun and I really can't wait for another one soon. Another club I joined was Vos-Q (Volunteering Squad) buttt sadly I have yet to join any of their volunteering events due to my schedule sigh. Their first volunteering event was at Zoo Negara - which obviously I missed joining that one but issokay. Better luck next time.
26th September: We had our grand (Bumis) Pharmacy Buddy meeting with a little feast of Nasi Minang. Really don't know who invented Nasi Minang but it was OK I guess. This meeting included buddies not only from the first and second year also from the third and fourth. We were supposed to have games I think but it suddenly rained and we had to move indoors but they continued with some lucky draws. Anyways, here are my buddies!

12th - 13th October: It's the college sports' weekend! They call it Syed Nasir's Sports Events or SeNSE. God, them and their abbreviations. Saturday was game day while Sunday was for perbarisan + cheers (joined this one) and the closing ceremony. I only had a few (honestly just 2) pictures with Rumah Hijau gang so.....

Obviously I didn't join any of the games they had BUT that Saturday night I went to watch a football match between UKM FC vs JDT II with some of my classmates. Tough game but JDT II won sigh. The game took so long that we went back to KTSN at 12am. Not that I've never watched a match till 12am but this time was different cause we had to join cheering with the other campus who came along.

19th October: The day first year students worked hard for - Piala Dekan & Hari Interaksi (PDHI). Piala Dekan is like a sport's event but only for pharmacy students. Everyone had to join something so I chose dodgeball! My team (Amaranth - red) was really close to winning but Tartrazine (yellow) ended up winning in our round. Then later that afternoon was Hari Interaksi which wasn't really an interaction day for us. It was just for prize giving ceremony and it's where first year students had to perform - a tradition they said. Before that day came, we were divided into 6 teams - a choir, a band and 4 dance teams (Malay dance, Chinese dance, Indian dance and 1 Malaysia). We had monitoring sessions like every two weeks cause they wanted to see our progress. Was it worth it? I can't say no. I spent a really great time with my team, though I might be a little bossy at times but it was so fun to be with them. We do have another performance coming up next semester, PharmNight, so more practices soon!

22nd - 24th October: This was literally our midsem test week. 3 papers tested, one paper a day. We haven't gotten our marks yet until now, not really sure why but probably we're getting them through our mentors (this scares me lol but lets move on). So what happens after we had our tests? WE GO BACK HOMEEEEE. And that was when I was supposed to finish writing this blog within that week but here's me, writing this, on November 17th. Time passed, went on dates, went on hangouts. God, I miss my Kuantan peeps. And my lil furry kitties at home. They're just on another level of coziness. Week 14 come faster pleaseeeee! 5 weeks left but it feels like 5 months ugh. But anyways I should wrap this up cause I have a BioChem quiz on Wednesday and I haven't started studying anything yet. Till I write again, later! ♡
x,
Hanan
